About Neenan

Neenan Company has been a family owned plumbing wholesaler for over 50 years. Started January 2nd,1952. Neenan Company is currently in its second generation of ownership.

Jim Neenan, founder of the company began by selling from his house in Kansas City, Mo. It was 18 months before he opened his first location in a small building located in the Old Westport area of Kansas City.

In 1974, Mike Neenan purchased the company from his father, bringing Neenan to its current generation of ownership. A few years later, Mike sold stock in the company to his brother, Joe Neenan. Building on the business their father began, Mike and Joe have built Neenan into a full line plumbing wholesale company.

With headquarters remaining in Kansas City, Mo. and 9 branch offices located in Mo. and Ks., the Neenan Company continues doing business on the leading edge while maintaining the personal touch of a family owned company, thereby keeping the vision of Jim Neenan alive well into the next century.
